New at the Arden Craft Shop Museum

Flower Girl, a beautiful figurative bronze by Bunni Hurlong, will be on display during the month of March at the Arden Craft Shop Museum. This sculpture was originally done in the 1950s and recently cast in bronze. It is on loan from Sadie Somerville and Rodney Jester, who wish to thank the Hurlong family for making the mold available and for encouraging them to have this beautiful sculpture cast.

Bunni was a long time resident of Arden. She spent time in South America and was fascinated with the local culture, art, and dances.  Her work has been exhibited at the Philadelphia Museum  of Art, Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., and in Kaohsuing, Taiwan.

Come see the beautiful sculpture any time before it leaves in early April. It can be found centrally in the museum as part of our Tenth Anniversary Exhibition, The Craft Shop – A Place to Work, to Live, to Dream.
