A Wonderful Ardentown History Stroll

The Arden Craft Shop Museum energy was growing in anticipation for the Summer History Strolls planned. It turned out to be a lovely evening for a village stroll with Ardentown history.

The Archives committee members met up at 6:30 at the Henry George Memorial Green and village folk joined us, coming from all directions, for Barbara Macklem to give an introduction to how, when and by whom Ardentown was begun. It was a terrific turnout of 44 people!
Rodney Jester led the group and stopped at key locations to present the stories of the people and places in the village of Ardentown.
Good questions and more history was shared by those who came on the walk.

A wonderful reception was held in the Bernie Schwab community room back at the Museum. The museum exhibition “Growing up in the Ardens” was open for viewing. Thanks to all the volunteers that helped make this a successful Summer history Stroll!
