The Arden Craft Shop Museum is proud to announce its fourth annual Shakespeare exhibition. This year, Customary Suits of Solemn Black discusses the importance of the costume to a character’s staging.
Once again, the museum will be open for an hour prior to each show. Please stop by to see some of the Shakespeare Gild’s beautiful costumes on display.
Also featured are some concept sketches for this year’s costumes and a fascinatingly detailed shirt made by Lena Walden and on loan from Maria Burslem. Don Holcomb wore the shirt in his role as Hamlet.
