The Arden Fair this year will be another round of entertaining and varied displays of craftsmanship and creativity. As seen from the Arden Fair announcements from a 1941 Town Crier below, the Fair has always celebrated unique Arden crafts, such as those made by the Arden Weavers; delicious food, like homemade ice cream; and a touch of the mystical (who wouldn’t want their tea leaves read?) A communal effort, the Arden Fair has a long history of bringing in friends and strangers from afar to join in the revelry and spirit of the Ardens, and this year should be no different.
The Arden Craft Shop Museum will be open during the Fair from 11 am – 4 pm. Please stop by to see our Third Annual Shakespeare Exhibit and get one last look at the Arden Fair t-shirts before we begin our preparations for the 10th Anniversary Exhibit coming in October 2014.
